Prada F/W2012 Menswear Runway Show

We're no strangers to actors walking the runway during Fashion Week and at Prada's Menswear Fall 2012 show at Milan Fashion Week, there were some familiar faces rocking the red carpet runway.

Aptly named "Prada Presents: Il Palazzo. A Palace of Role Play", the show featured "a parody of male power".  Fabrics and patterns were not as they seemed...

But while Miuccia Prada dazzled with her striking patterns and Steampunk / Edwardian / Sherlock Holmes-esque style, some famous faces stood out...

I am (and always will be) a fan of Emile Hirsch. He looked absolutely charming in this outfit.

How I've missed you Emile!

Adrien Brody KILLED this outfit. The red glasses, the red jacket, the slicked back hair and the walk.  THE WALK. 

I feel like a romance novelist thinking of ways to describe Adrien Brody here but I'll spare you...

Always the badass, Gary Oldman showed everyone how it was done on his turn down the red carpet runway.  

Just look at him!  He's making that outfit his bitch and although it might be constructed out of inexpensive material, it looks like it's worth $1,000,000,000.  He is owning it.  And look at that snarl.  Perfection.  No wonder he ended the show.  BAM.

Also in this show, I think I've found my latest inspiration...
 
His name is Lessandro Reyniers and he is WORKING that look.

You know who was missing though?  Nicholas Hoult and Jamie Campbell Bower...They would've added to the handsomeness.  Yes I am aware that I've said some not-so-nice things about Nicholas Hoult but after watching him in A Single Man and seeing his l'il face plastered all over my Tumblr dash from when he did that Tom Ford campaign, I must say he is quite the handsome fella!  But I will save that for another day..........

Project Runway - Go Big Or Go Home: The Recap

For all the readers that joined us last night, I'm really sorry for all the technical difficulties that we were experiencing on Cover It Live. It was terrible! My posts were delayed or not even posting at all and I'm guessing that was Lauren and Geoff's problem as well because some comments seemed a little delayed. So, I do sincerely apologize for that. Hopefully Cover It Live has their act together next week.

On to the recap!

Team Challenge night and oh what a night it was! The models were on stilts!

Can I just say that I'm totally in LOVE with Joshua M? He's HAIRlarious (as Lauren said last night) and his idea of bedazzling is AMAZING. Michael Kors was hating on the bedazzling but I think it worked for Team Joshua/Julie's "romantic matador" look.

AMAZING!! I'm even more envious of her now! I think the next best thing: a tattoo.

Yes! A tattoo! I need to get with the always awesome Matt Greenhalgh of Only You Tattoo and see if he can sketch me up a cute pin up girl version of Lily Donaldson's outfit from the show. That would be adorbs Xs infinity!!

Yes, I found more from my *favourite* section: Country. Actually, it's not so bad anymore. Why? JESSICA STAM. Look at her. Just look at her.



She is working those weird wooden rose feather wings and her denim patchwork...um...whatever - I still hated this part. But now you get to see MeeMaw's table cloth I mentioned in the last post! Awesome!

We get a repeat Jessica Stam looking all cute in a see through raincoat with a GIANT rick rack belt. Adorbs!! You can't hate this part. Just look at the colours! You can't get mad at it!!! You just want to pinch their little cheeks, put their hair in pigtails and have them give each other manicures! CUTE!!!

I had the fun pleasure of checking out this collection and this one for more photos! These are amazing! And there's still more out there, I'm sure!! I'll keep my eyes peeled!
