Wooo! The Wednesday before Thanksgiving! What are you thankful for? I'm thankful for you guys and gals! XOXO
My most favorite thing from Will and Grace!
These are called Phenakistoscopes.
See more phenakistoscopes here
When I saw Scott Pilgrim VS The World I got a major creative boost for my graphics. This one was one of my little favorite. Why? It's short, simple and kinda cute.
Okay, okay, I must admit - I haven't seen The Town yet (WHAT?!) but Jeremy Renner is quite adorable here...
A calming thunderstorm over the ocean...
A molotov cocktail in slo-mo.

Sounds like the Ghostfacers are returning to Supernatural sometime soon!
The post reads: Pretty sure everyone needs a Dave Grohl hair whip on their dashboard.
Yes, it's true.
Here's the cast of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire being adorable (except for Liam - he's being the "too-cool-for-school" older brother lol)
This makes me laugh and I know it will make you laugh, too :)
Happy Wednesday! And also - Happy Thanksgiving!

My job did a thing...
So, we had a BIG announcement at work on Wednesday. We rebranded AND we announced our super-secret partnership with XBOX Fitness! Check out the video:
I'll give you a hint at who did the camerawork and lighting...LOL
Actually, I can't take all the credit on the lighting - that goes to my Production Supervisor. He's a BEAST when it comes to lighting! Check out this side-by-side we did while we were testing our lighting set-up for the announcement video shoot:
He did such a great job (and Heather was nice enough to sit in for us to get some test footage). I'm so glad we can now green screen instead of fudging through it with some grey paper and and RGB Key. Okay, okay, enough nerd talk.
I am really excited about the XBOX Fitness partnership, though. The classes are AWESOME - and I'm not just saying that because I work there, I'm saying it because it's true! They're only 30 minutes and time flies by while you're doing it! If you're one of the lucky ones to snag an XBOX One, I urge you to try the Mossa classes! I believe they're free for a year if you have an XBOX Gold membership...I'm not sure how the memberships work since my old man is the keeper of the XBOX at our house (it's just a Netflix / Hulu box for me! Ha!).
But seriously - try the Mossa workouts. They're great. I never thought I'd enjoy the Mossa Fight workout (because Group Kick always intimidates me) but Fight is so much fun and you'll feel AMAZING afterwards! Take it from me! It's the thing I needed to break my weight-loss plateau.
Who's getting an XBOX One? Let me know how you like the Mossa workouts!

Wednesday Gif Party!
Phew! I'm on time and I come bearing gifs! LOL
Bless Blaine and his twerking (but I'm sure glad that was the END of it...)
Remember this sweet little goofball...
...who turned into this handsome man?
Adriana Lima from my newest tag "BAD BITCH ROLL CALL"
This gif makes me want to take the band footage I have and gif ALL OF IT
This makes me sad that I can't flip my hair (for now, at least...)
Watch that caramel drizzle...
See the gif set here (you know you want to!)
One of the coolest parts about the film "The Fifth Element" (for me, anyways) is the fact that there are lots of models in it! When I was a kid, I loved hearing all those great facts about that film because at the time, models weren't all up in our faces with Instagram and Facebook and blah blah blah, so I loved that Luc Besson and Jean Paul Gaultier had all these great models in Gaultier's great costumes. Also, Jean Paul Gaultier put his hands on EVERY SINGLE COSTUME in the film to make sure that it was exactly right. That tiny little fact has always stayed with me.
See the gif set with 8 other stunning models from the film here
Yoink!
And here it is - the elusive perfect loop

Three Day Weekend Antics
Not gonna lie - I feel like I've kinda been allergic to taking photos lately. I don't know why exactly, but picking up my camera / phone to document things just isn't the first thing I do anymore. It feels weird and in order to combat that, I picked up my camera a few times this weekend to try and get back in the swing of things.
Green screen lighting tests at work / Sulking around Corner Bakery on Friday morning / Channeling my inner Blaine Anderson with this sweet bow tie I got for the old man (and myself) from H&M.
Also - I got a haircut! This is the shortest it has EVER been! On a whim (as always) I made an appointment with my girl Sheila (at Toni & Guy - North Point) and let her go to town. At first, I was afraid that I had made a crazy decision in the sleep-deprived state I was in but I LOVE IT!!! Of course I love it! Sheila always does the best cuts on me! I highly recommend her!!
My Stay Home Club items came in forever ago and my Mom was nice enough to drop them off for me. I LOVE them! The "I Miss You" card is going to someone very special on the West Coast but the No New Friends shirt has to be my new favorite shirt (which I'm planning a new outfit around)...right next to my most recent purchase...
That's right - my Jax Teller mugshot shirt is pretty awesome and right up there with my No New Friends shirt!
And because I'm all excited about The Hunger Games: Catching Fire coming out soon, I bought Peeta's necklace!
I made the gif using the Gif Shop app.
I mostly tried to lay low since I worked for 3 weeks straight, so I ended up staying at home most of my weekend. I guess it was a good thing since the weather was nasty. Did I get any NaNo writing done? That's a big fat NO. Ugh...I suck. I also ended up missing my friends' pop-up shop in Gainesville but I hope she'll understand that I was trying to catch up on sleep. I think this gif sums it up quite nicely

NaNoWriMo 2013
It's November which means NaNoWriMo! I was going to write another story but I want to focus on my main one so I can get a script together and out of my brain!! I mean, I've been working on it since last year and all...I just never really like to end my stories.
Why?
Because that means it's over! The story is over! The characters move on! Who wants that? Not me! I love my characters - good or bad - and I want their adventures to continue! Granted, they can't and I know that but still.
My old man hooked me up with one of his co-workers, who just so happens to be a writer, and he gave me some GREAT advice. He also encouraged me to step away from my main writing project if I need to, just to get an emotional break, but he told me something very important: KEEP WRITING. Whether it's a crappy idea or something I might want to pursue later, WRITE IT DOWN!!! I knew that already but it was great to hear it from him because it proved I've been doing the right thing all along!
Meeting with him was great because, I know I've said this before but I'm going to keep pointing it out, at work, I'm very isolated. I'm the only person in the building that does what I do - editing, animations, a specific kind of writing...so it's hard to get motivated and stay motivated when my co-workers don't "get" me, so I cherish these kinds of interactions because they really do mean a lot to me and it feels great to be surrounded by others that have the same interests as you, right?!
I'm happy to say that I'm 34 pages into my script so far and I'm right on target with the parameters he gave me, which makes me so happy that I'm getting this DONE!!! One of the exercises he gave me was to read a script similar to mine so I could get the proper structure. Surprise - the script I chose was none other than Blue Valentine. It is structured kind of in the same way as mine but it's slightly different, of course. Reading the script now, after having seen the movie forever ago, is great because I thought my mind was going to drift off to images of Ryan Gosling being super romantic and Michelle Williams being her lovely self (in the flashbacks) but really, I'm looking at it from a totally different perspective now and it's helping me maintain my momentum with my own story. Granted, the last few weeks have been CRAZY at work but I'm getting back into it - including already having come up with a great concept that I'm going to build up, write a pretty in-depth synopsis for and pass on to my mentor to see if it's a "Yea" or "Nay" to pursue. So far, all signs point to "Yea". YAY!
Anyone else participating in NaNoWriMo this year??

Wednesday Gif Party!
I've been slacking on the posts and I'm totally sorry! This round of filming was CRAZY. I'm still trying to catch up but for now, here are some gifs for you to enjoy!
Hugh Jackman eating a pizza - two of my dream things coming together...
See the gif set here!
Happy belated birthday, Ryan Gosling!
Here's Charlie Hunnam, also with his shirt off. Hubba hubba
Here's Tom Felton (aka Draco Malfoy) being too cool for life
Seriously - check out the gif set because they're all awesome!!!
This gif will ALWAYS crack me up!
So wrong but kinda funny...
Mozzarella Sticks never looked so sexy...
Because I missed Supernatural last night (I fell asleep!), here's a really great mash-up of all the title cards so far...
The coolest (and weirdest) optical illusion...
The post reads: A circle of dots, but every dot alone is just moving in a straight line.
Happy Wednesday!!

Wednesday Gif Party!
I'll start with my favorite thing from Lilo and Stitch
A few weeks ago, I was talking with my friend about Michael Fassbender, so this felt appropriate... Hubba hubba
See the gif set here
Staying on the Hot Guy Train, here's Josh Hutcherson being crazy handsome for his cover story for Out Magazine. If you haven't read the article, please do! It's wonderful (and the photos are incredible)
Next stop, Jensen Ackles. You guys have no idea how happy I am to be able to watch Supernatural when it comes on TV! I know it's dumb but I'm just glad I don't have to watch Supernatural posts go by on my Tumblr dash and have no idea about what's happening. I don't have to worry anymore!
BTW, Supernatural comes on Tuesdays at 9.8c on The CW
Next stop is Karl Urban. I'm anxiously awaiting the premiere of Almost Human, where Karl's police partner is a robot. Hulu has dubbed the union a "robromance" and I quite like it!
Last stop on the Hot Guy Train is Charlie Hunnam. Since he's not going to be Christian Grey anymore (Hooray! and Oh no! to that because I had already prepared myself for it...), I can go back to enjoying Charlie as Jax Teller...and Raleigh Becket in Pacific Rim.
Because I missed the Halloween Gif Party, I'll have a few here - like this one from Jem and the Holograms!
And this amazing Maleficent costume (with tutorial!!!)
See the makeup tutorial here!
Okay, I think this might be my last Halloween gif for the day...
These photos take the Cinemagraph to a whole new level! Check out the RRRRRRRROLL Project
Looks like we need to step our game up!
