My journey to the Red Room of Pain is finally over...and I'm kinda sad about it

I, sadly, finished my adventures with Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey yesterday and what an adventure it was.  With all the ups and downs and everything in between, I'd say it was a wonderful journey.  Yes, it's weird talking about it with my co-workers but I don't know if Lauren is reading it and Double D already told me he was NOT going to read the book so I don't know who else to talk to about it!  Ugh - why am I not in a book club (for these books specifically)?!  I guess I could find other places on the interwebs to gush and I could do it here but I'll spare you - except with the occasional posts about my fantasy casting.  Like...right now.

While I was watching this week's True Blood (for the second time), I felt like Alexander Skarsgard was giving MAJOR Christian Grey realness.

Forgive my screenshots since I was pausing my Roku box to take photos with my phone

I was also glad to see Eric and Nora have patched things up as well.  Things are getting crazy in Bon Temps and I'm anxious about the season finale this coming Sunday.

Another thing I was wondering during my re-watch of True Blood was: When the FUDGE POPSICLE STICKS is Magic Mike coming out on DVD?!?!?!?!!???

DAMMIT!! Joe Manganiello, you are a delight and I can't wait to get the Blu Ray Extended Director's Cut version of Magic Mike when it comes out to see you and your friends in all your sweet, sweet hot body glory.

Hopefully in time for Christmas.

Possibly sooner.

This has been a True Blood Hot Guy Appreciation post.  I acknowledge the fact that there are other hot guys on True Blood but right now, these are my top 2.

I secretly like to live in trashy romance novels Part 2

Stop the presses!  Remember how I said I could only picture Skarsgard as the one and only Christian Grey?  Well, that has all changed after seeing this glorious gif:

It appears as if my subconscious really REALLY wants Cillian Murphy as the sexy billionaire because as I was catching up on Ana and Christian's elevator exploits (among others...) I pictured Cillian Murphy's intense stare.
Why didn't I think of him before?!  All the talk is going towards RPattz (God love ya but no thanks), Ian Somerhalder (thanks but no thanks - too short), Chris Fine - err...I  mean Pine (hmmm...), Johnathan Rhys-Meyers (homina homina homina...but no), Skarsgard and a few others but Cillian Murphy just seems to fit.  Right.  Into.  Place.
I mean, Christian delivers these intense, longing looks with burning eyes and while the men listed above certainly have those definitive features, Cillian Murphy SLAYS me with his look above.  Don't believe me?  Why aren't you looking at that gif harder?!  Tell me you don't see 50 shades of fucked-up right there!
He's perfectly alluring with a hard edge that makes you intimidate him - perfect for palm twitchingly handsome Christian Grey.  As I was drifting off to sleep, I imagined Mr. Murphy as Mr. Grey with some unknown woman bent over his lap as he gently lifted his hand to strike her behind.  It just felt right.
It would be DEVASTATING if Cillian Murphy or Skarsgard don't get picked!  Those are the only two I see possible for this role!  I don't know if I would be able to see the movie if either one of these men weren't in it.  If it's neither Skarsgard or Murphy, my feelings and my subconscious goddess will be devastated and I don't think I could handle it.  I finally get why so many people were up in arms about The Hunger Games casting Liam Hemsworth as Gale - it just didn't make sense.  Though, I wasn't emotionally attached to Gale since I was late to the Hunger Games book party.  It's crazy how emotionally attached I am to Christian Grey.  But I guess that's the whole purpose of the books...

The Skarsgard photo is DEFINITELY owning me right now.  Le sigh...can't I just have both???

**EDIT:
I think Skarsgard has melted my heart. After some searching on IMdb, I started looking at photos of Mr. Skarsgard and I saw the following photo of his character Eric Northman with his "sister" Nora Gainesborough from True Blood.

TELL ME THAT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE CHRISTIAN GREY AND ANASTASIA STEELE (in a plum dress no less!!!!)  I can't concentrate!! GAAAH!!

I secretly like to live in trashy romance novels

I've been resisting it for so long and I finally gave into it last week: I've started reading the 50 Shades of Grey books.  I am only slightly ashamed.  Partly because I knew it was coming.  I was going to end up reading them sooner or later AND an innocent Tweet from Michelle Visage intrigued me. Hmmm...Alexander Skarsgard as Christian Grey?  I knew then that I HAD to know who this guy was if Skarsgard was being considered.

He's so alluring and so charming as Eric Northman on True Blood (and he's almost always half naked).  So I downloaded it straight to my iPad when I got home from work...AND I COULDN'T STOP READING.
Sure the writing is weird (I've read the Twilight books so I'm immune to weird writing - including my own) and the characters are a little wild but this isn't my first time at the BDSM literature rodeo, okay?  I've read quite a few BDSM books in my day (the fave being the Claiming of Sleeping Beauty Trilogy because I love Princess Aurora so much) so these books are quite tame in my honest opinion.  Sure there's spanking and light torture, bondage and all that but it's not quite there yet.  But for some reason, I'm captivated by Christian Grey.  And picturing Alexander Skarsgard as the unbelievably young multibillionaire is making it harder to hate the book - and what they're doing to me.
I'm totally swept off my feet again and again by Christian Grey and I fear that I am, childishly, wishing every man was like him.  Ugh.  It's embarrassing - but not as embarrassing as my little encounter last night, which my brother dubbed 50 Subs of Way.  Yes, it happened in a Subway while I was waiting on my sandwich and it was the weirdest, most confusing and most exciting thing that's happened to me in a long while.  UH - WTF?!  WHO AM I?!
Maybe it's because my sleep schedule is thrown off and my overactive imagination is getting the better of me (as usual) but I rather enjoy these games even though they're very confusing and I have no idea what they are.  He was just some random guy walking in for a sandwich.  Nothing out of the ordinary but I could feel something in the air that was . . . charged or something.  Not like the charge between Ana and Christian but there was something there that wasn't there before he entered the sandwich shop.  Ugh.
I keep telling myself there's no such man as Christian Grey. Shit - there's no such man as Brandon (who isn't really romantic but...) or my other favourite Christian.

What is happening to me?!
