Eclipse Season and a Q+A with my cards

Full Moon 1

Full Moon 2 Full Moon 3 Full Moon 4 Full Moon 6 Full Moon 7 #eclipse view from work Blood Moon

This full moon eclipse has me kinda freaking out a little.  There's a lot of energy associated with this Full Moon in Aries and I'm kinda secretly but not-so-secretly freaking out about what to do next.  I've got this idea of what the next phase in my life should look like and be but the Mercury Retrograde happening right now is preventing me from starting to hash out anything major with it for fear of it getting the wrong energy.  I don't know what to do!!

King of Pentacles Full Moon Q&A
The Kind of Pentacles / The Hanged Man / The Three of Cups

I asked my cards to tell me about someone in my life and I got the King of Pentacles for the second time in a row for them - which leads me to believe that the two cards that followed when I asked a follow up question concerning plans with that person means it's gonna be a GREAT thing!

Now, if I could just practice some more patience, let the Universe guide me by letting go and not doing what is expected of me (for once!) (Hanged Man), we can get to the celebration much quicker (Three of Cups)!  That's my interpretation.  If you have some insight or your own interpretation, please share! :)

How is your week going?  Did you get to enjoy the Eclipse?

PS - concerning The Hanged Man card, I feel like these videos from Teal, that I had watched earlier in the day, were very fitting!

Wacky Wednesday Gif Party!

In honor of Charlie Hunnam being cast as Christian Grey, I'll start Gif Wednesday with this lovely gif:

Not my first choice but we all know that.  I will say that while I think he's a peculiar choice as Christian Grey, he's still pretty freakin' dreamy.  And now that we're almost caught up to the most current season of Sons of Anarchy, I think I'm gonna like Mr. Hunnam even more.  I really enjoy him as Jax Teller.  He does the bad boy thing so well.  I'm kinda excited to see how he portrays Mr. Grey...

I had a dentist appointment yesterday that left my jaw so sore so I bought myself The Great Gatsby and watched it all day long.  I'm not kidding.  I watched it all day.  I would get to various parts of the film and restart it (but I made sure to skip over the ending).

Bonus Gatsby gif because I want it

Here's Mr. Gosling from a deleted scene from The Place Beyond the Pines.

Click through for the gif set. Yes, there's more!

Here's a stunning piece from the Balmain Fall 2012 RTW Collection. I had seen photos but never a video of this beautiful piece.

Black Parade-era Gerard Way being all dreamy in "The Ghost of You" music video.

A skull in a salt lake. There's something about this gif that's very peaceful.

Moon rise

I'm not exactly sure where this is from but here's a magical unicorn because...well, because why not?

And finally, I'm not sure where this is from either but here's Channing Tatum SERVING IT.

Man, I love Tumblr!

Full Moon Mani Test Run

You guys! I was looking around the internets for cute designs to try on the ol' paws when I came across this amazing look from one of my favourite nail blogs:The Illustrated Nail.

OH. MY. GAWD. I LOVE IT. And thank goodness there's kind of a tutorial for it here.
Armed with China Glaze's Liquid Leather (for the night sky) and Lubu Heels, Sally Hansen's White On, Orly's Shine On Crazy Diamond (as the "stars"), my makeshift dotting tool (made from this tutorial) because I don't have a striper brush, and a makeup sponge, I was ready to try it!

Well? Not bad, I'd say! I used Lubu Heels for the night sky on the rest of my nails and saved the full moon for my thumb (since it's the biggest "canvas").

I wanted to keep my manicure simple for my simple Halloween costume.  Since we're filming on Halloween (again...), I decided I'd keep my costume super simple so that I can work the filming in the morning and not have to worry about a super drastic costume change later.
So what is it??  Who am I dressing up as?  Marceline the Vampire Queen from Adventure Time!

You can't get any easier than jeans and a grey tank top, right?  I don't have the red boots, though.  Red shoes look weird on me so I'm sticking with some boots and I have a wig.  All I need is some vampire fangs and I'm all set!

What are you dressing up as for Halloween?
